How does IP Whitelisting Work?

The IP Whitelisting setting that is found in the Company settings page is a tool you can use when you only login want your normal users to login from certain networks. Company Super Admin level user logins will ignore your whitelist setting.

As an example, lets say your company has two different offices and each office sends their Internet traffic out of a single IP address.

Office #1: External IP = 186.145.111.10

Office #2: External IP = 186.145.111.11

For this scenario you would add the following to your whitelist setting to prevent non-super-admin users from logging in from outside of these two addresses (separated by a space):

186.145.111.10 186.145.111.11

For another example, lets assume each of your users could be one of a range of IP addresses. In this case you can use network notation:

186.145.0.0/16

To Disable:

Leave the company whitelist setting empty
